White & Guard was founded by Steve way back in 2006, starting with the opening of our Bishops Waltham branch. Having lived in Botley since he was 7 years old he enjoys a great sense and intimate knowledge and awareness of the whole area. With already over 20 years of both estate agency, having started his career at 19 years old, and thereafter new build property development locally, when the opportunity came to open a local agency, it was a natural evolvement. Now some 19 years later and with 4 thriving award-winning W&G branches, all deep rooted in the areas Steve grew up in, he is still ambitious to ensure when the time comes, W&G provides local people with a brilliant and uniquely personal house moving experience.

Alistair honed his craft in agency nearly 20 years ago and after being responsible for over-seeing several offices for a large corporate, joined us as a Director several years ago. One thing that has always set him aside is that Alistair defines what it means to have an inbuilt passion to succeed. So alongside Claire and their teams of seasoned individuals, they always ensure the  very best results for our clients, that are both recognised and remembered.

Claire exels in every aspect of what she does, having started her early agency career in a busy office in central London.

She is very much at home amongst the diverse range of clients she deals with and always makes sure that their voices are heard, coupled with the fact she’s an incredible problem solver, with innovative ideas also being a strongpoint. So with her solution-orientated attitude, we look at Claire as the ‘Captain’ of our ship, one that we certainly say is worth sailing on  with her at the helm.

Russell brings over three decades of industry experience, providing a wealth of knowledge and a strong professional reputation to the Hedge End branch of White & Guard. In his role, he supervises daily operational activities, interfaces directly with vendors, and places a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction to uphold the company's commitment to delivering outstanding service to our clients.

Having been active in the village for nine years, he has established a rapport with the residents and enjoys repeat business. Russell takes particular satisfaction in conducting market appraisals, appreciating the chance to interact with the community and cultivate connections.

In his free time, he enjoys refurbishing his recently acquired home and looking after his garden.

With her 20 years of experience within this area, Jodie is certainly best placed to be the captain of the ship for our Bitterne office.

Since it’s opening in 2020, she has been instrumental in creating and developing the business into what it is today, the strongest and best performing sales office within the area.

She also excels in every aspect of what she does and takes great pride in always ensuring her team is No.1 in everything that they do. Jodie always ensures that they go above and beyond for their clients, with their many recent awards a testament to this.

With 17 years of experience in the estate agency industry, I bring a wealth of expertise and a deep understanding of the property market to my role as Director of Lettings. My career has been dedicated to helping clients achieve their goals, whether they are landlords seeking reliable tenants or renters looking for the perfect home. 

As a seasoned professional, I take pride in building strong relationships with clients based on trust, transparency, and exceptional service. My comprehensive knowledge of lettings ensures that I can provide tailored solutions, from strategic property management to market advice that maximizes returns.
